Previously we told you about the QR functionality for door opening (relay activation) in our intercoms with Camera. Interesting functionality for temporary scheduling of access to sites automatically. Access to rental apartments or access for maintenance work are the most used applications.
On this occasion we want to share with you the new functionalities that we have added to the intercom cards IP-SIP, which can give you ideas for more projects. These new features can be found on both CSIP cards and Panphone IP-SIP devices with the new Firmware version.
These functionalities are:
Additional IP port (Optional)
- Now our card allows us to incorporate, upon request, an additional IP port (RJ45). This will allow you to connect other devices that require a wired connection in the vicinity where the Panphone device or IP card is located.
10W Speaker Amplification Output (Optional)
- Using an additional amplification card it is possible to have 10 Watts of output for the speaker. The normal speaker provided with the device is 2W. With this new functionality you have the possibility of connecting speakers with greater power in an arrangement of 10W/8ohms or 20W/4ohms.
Additional speaker and microphone (Optional)
- It is possible to add an Additional speaker and microphone to our CSIP card or Panphone IP devices (in any version ). Additionally, they can be controlled with 2 switches connected to the OPTO inputs/outputs card.
Use of 3rd Relay (Optional)
- Although it is not a new functionality, functionalities are added in the Administration Software to control the 3rd relay incorporated in the < strong>OPTO input/output card (optional).
Applications of these new features
You may wonder, how can these functionalities be used?
Here are some of them, which are already implemented and in operation, in some of our clients…
- The extra RJ45 port has multiple applications by simply connecting from IP-SIP phones, computers, clocking equipment, cameras, IoT sensor hubs, etc. having infinite possibilities.
- The 10W amplification is used in noisy, industrial environments or in repair or inspection centers (ITV) to project the sound more.
- The two speakers and microphones in a single intercom:
- They are used in road SOS intercoms to extend the second intercom to the other direction road.
- In tolls, barriers or vehicle crossings for intercommunication at double height (trucks and cars)
- In elevators, loading and unloading docks, for intercommunication in two directions of passage.
- Service stations and gas stations. 1 intercom is used for 2 sides of dispensers.
- The 3rd Relay allows you to control a third door, or activate any other device that requires it.
